Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with soul, gospel music, and R&B. She has performed on Broadway as well as in the Democratic National Convention and in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. Sunshine Her real name has been given as Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta however, her roots lie located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue the musical profession by singing and playing the piano at church. She studied at Spellman College and began to master the R&B style of Atlanta. In 2005, she was employed as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls, the theatre production at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition during her four daily performances during 2008's Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform at President Barack Obama's 2008 inauguration.
